11. Weight: 50kg for males, 47kg for females.
12. Marital Status: Single.
13. Nationality: Must be a Bangladeshi citizen by birth.
14. National Identity Card: Final selected candidates are advised to prepare a National Identity Card before joining BMA.

Educational Qualification (Minimum) for BMA Long Course:

• (1) National Medium: Passed Secondary and Higher Secondary Certificate/Equivalent Examination with a GPA of 5.00 in any one and a minimum GPA of 4.50 in the other.
• (2) English Medium: Passed with an ‘A’ grade in 3 out of 6 subjects, a ‘B’ grade in 3, and a minimum ‘B’ grade in 2 subjects at ‘A’ level. or, Passed with an ‘A’ grade in 2 subjects, a ‘B’ grade in 3 subjects, and ‘C’ grade in 1 subject, and an ‘A’ grade in 1 subject in an ‘A’ level out of 6 subjects.
• (3) For Armed Forces Candidates: Passed both HSC and SSC examinations separately with a minimum GPA of 4.00.
• (4) 2026 Regular HSC/’A’ Level Exam Candidates Application Process: Specially noted, 2026 Regular HSC/’A’ Level Exam Candidates can apply; In this case, candidates must have an SSC GPA-5.00/’O’ level with ‘A’ grade in 3 subjects, ‘B’ grade in 3 subjects/equivalent results. Selected candidates can appear in ISSB only after appearing in the HSC/’A’ level examination. HSC/’A’ level examination results must be published before joining BMA in both mediums; No candidate can join BMA without the results.

97 BMA Long Course Written Examination Notice

1. Preliminary Selection (Health and Oral) Examination: Preliminary Selection (Health and Oral) Examination will be held from 27 October 2026 to 07 November 2026 in various cantonments. If a candidate is unable to appear on the day of the examination, he can attend the examination on any day within the specified time. However, the change of exam date should be reported directly to the respective exam centre in advance.

2. 97 BMA Long Course written examination will be held on 15th November 2026. You will report to the written examination centre in November, and the exam will start at 09:00 hrs. Results of the Written Exam will be published at https://join.army.mil.bd on December 1st week 2026.
