Bangladesh Jewelers Association has increased the price of gold by Tk 2612 after a few days in 2026. To buy good quality, i.e. 22-carat gold ornaments, you must pay 226,340 Taka. They have implemented the new gold price nationwide from one o’clock on 21st June 2026. The Jewelers’ Association has announced the latest increased price on 31st June 2026.

According to the association, the reason for the new increase in gold prices is the economic crisis caused by the current US dollar hike and various complex equations. বিজ্ঞপ্তিতে বলা হয়, স্থানীয় বাজারে তেজাবি স্বর্ণের (পিওর গোল্ড) মূল্য কমেছে। ফলে সার্বিক পরিস্থিতি বিবেচনায় ভ্যাটসহ স্বর্ণের নতুন দাম নির্ধারণ করা হয়েছে। শনিবার সকাল ১০টা থেকেই নতুন দাম কার্যকর হয়েছে।
সিদ্ধান্ত অনুযায়ী, দেশের বাজারে ভ্যাটসহ প্রতি ভরি (১১.৬৬৪ গ্রাম) ২২ ক্যারেটের স্বর্ণের দাম পড়ছে ২ লাখ ২৬ হাজার ৩৪০ টাকা। এছাড়া ২১ ক্যারেটের প্রতি ভরি ২ লাখ ১৬ হাজার ১৯২ টাকা, ১৮ ক্যারেটের প্রতি ভরি ১ লাখ ৮৫ হাজার ৬৯১ টাকা এবং সনাতন পদ্ধতির প্রতি ভরি স্বর্ণ ১ লাখ ৫১ হাজার ৬৯০ টাকায় বেচাকেনা হচ্ছে।
